2009 CUNYMUN Conference: Placards and Award Certificates

Above are examples of the award certificates and placards that were made for this year's CUNYMUN conference, which was organized by Baruch Model United Nations and City College Model United Nations and hosted by the Macaulay Honors College of the City University of New York.  These were made using the Adobe InDesign CS3 program.  The logos for the Macaulay Honors College and United Nations were found using outside sources.  Both were produced during the first week of March and used at the conference on March 7th, 2009.

This flyer was made to help promote the Baruch Model United Nations club at Baruch College.  It was produced using the Adobe inDesign (CS3) program.  The photographs in the background and lower left corner were taken by a member of the club.  The image at the top was taken by me.  The flyer was made on October 23, 2008.

Gender Benders

This flyer was made for our third LGBT History Month Event. It was produced using the Adobe Illustrator (CS3) program. The image used on this flyer is not my work. I made the flyer in the first week of September of 2008.

1st Annual LGBT History Month @ Baruch College

This was the first brochure that I made using Adobe Illustrator (CS3). The background color layout, Baruch College, and Student Life Logos were not produced by me. I made this flyer sometime in late August of 2008.

Noobism!

A noob. It is what I am in graphic design. I am a "Graphic Design Specialist" at Baruch City Advertising (BCAS), but can barely use any of the Adobe software. But, I am trying. I learn as I go and have thrown some stuff together. It's tough, having to manage another club as President, do research for another club, and work on various ad campaigns with BCAS. But, like I said, I am trying. I am taking a graphic design class next semester, which I am stoked to be taking!

My work will get better, hopefully, and I intend to post my work here, as an online portfolio, of sorts. One day, after I've established myself with a job, I hope to look back here and be proud of how much I've improved. A dream that I hope to achieve.

So here's to dreams! We all have them. May we all reach them someday!
